  • Cardamom crushed 5-6
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • Cream 200 ml + 2-3 tbsp
  • Sugar ½ Cup
  • Cinnamon Powder 1 tsp
  • Raisins 2-3 tbsp
  • Almonds Crushed 2-3 tbsp
  • Pistachios Crushed 2 tbsp
  • Sesame Seeds 1 ½ tsp
  • Desiccated Coconut 1 tbsp
  • Bakar Khani 6-7
HOW IT’S MADE

Method

  1. Boil milk, sugar, butter, cinnamon, half of the almonds & raisins together and reduce the milk from 2.5 cups to 2 cups, keep mixing.
  2. Once reduced, turn off the flame and add 200 ml cream and keep whisking.
  3. Arrange the bakar khanis in a baking dish and sprinkle dry fruits (pistachios, coconut, and sesame seeds) and add the whole milk mixture.
  4. On top spread cream and the remaining dry fruits.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven @ 160°C for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Lastly, broil for 6-8 minutes or until the top turns light brown.
  7. Serve the dessert warm.
